My dillon is officially 4 years old today. It’s hard to believe that 4 years, nine months ago, I underwent IVF to concieve this little fella. He’s been a joy to have in my life, but he’s also brought many challenges to my life as well. This child of mine definitely has a higher calling, a purpose on earth. I am blessed to be witness to his journey called life. Oh and he is the funniest kid on earth, hands down!

Today is dillon’s unofficial birthday since we are celebrating tonight with cake and presents. He’s official day is march 29th.

Right now Chris took the boys out for a long lunch so that I could wrap presents, decorate and finish cleaning. And what am I doing? Sitting here of course. I took the boys out yesterday to pick up some odds and ends for the party and while we were shopping we passed one of the toys I bought for dillon. So, I said “look dill! do you like that?”. His response? Um. No. and he walked away. What the hell am I supposed to do now? Wrap the damn thing anyway and give it to him? Pull it aside and return it without him knowing? Ugh. Maybe I wasn’t thinking. He’s probably too old for it (mentally) even though it’s rated ages 3-7. I just can’t let go of toddlerhood. Hell, I don’t even want to let go of babyhood.

Anyway, it’s a few toys from the line “Planet Heroes” by fisher-price. Specifically this and this. Oh well, I guess I’ll give it a try. Maybe he was just in a mood.

Boring for anyone but me.

iron and hang curtains
wash front door rug
put coats away
sweep and mop floors
lay down kitchen rugs
hang kitchen picture
dust frames in bathroom
clean bathroom
dust
vacuum
clean windows
clean off counters
wipe out fridge
straighten up dill’s room
organize freezer
take garbage to garage

Pick up cake tomorrow at noon
wrap dill’s presents
make goody bags

Someone’s Birthday

I’ve been really busy preparing for Dill’s birthday party on Wed. I’m so excited. I can’t believe my baby is going to be 4 years old!

I went to a spine surgeon today. I’ve been having a lot of back problems lately and have been seeing a neurologist for them. I finally decided to go to a doctor better prepared to diagnose and treat. He prescribed some pain medication, ordered steroid shots and another MRI. I go back to see him in two weeks. I’m hoping that this plan of treatment is going to work because so far, I can’t do shit around the house without being in pain.

I’ve been spending way too much time at pogo.com again. I get addicted to their games and can’t stop playing them. I must. drag myself. away from the computer!
